The Client Job Status report is designed to be printed
every morning to summarize the shop's work in production.
The production or billing status for many jobs can
be easily and quickly updated every day.
With the Client Job Status Report, you never have
to guess -- or worse, try to remember -- all the
turnkey details about jobs. Here, you can see a
job's production status, priority, and special notations
so you can manage workflow more efficiently. With
a link to the job's traffic screen here, you can
quickly update any jobs that need it.
The Client Job Status report is designed to be
printed every morning to summarize the shop's work
in production.
To use the client job status report
1 Choose Production > Client
Job Status Report
The Find Client Job Status window opens, prompting
you to enter selections for finding jobs.
2 Choose a client from the pop-up
menu.
Jobs can be found for one client only or to see
all job tickets, select ALL.
3 Choose a production status code
range.
Jobs can be selected for any production status
code range. This option lets you find only open
jobs, for instance. The jobs you've selected are
listed from the file server into the Client Job
Status Report window.
4 Click Find Jobs.
Jobs are sorted by client then by job number, making
it easy to see the current status of specific jobs.
Each job's production status and status note is
displayed in the Client Job Status Report window.
5 Enter a new status code and
status note for every job that has changed, press
Tab to move from field to field.
6 When all of the jobs are updated,
click Save.
To print the Client Job Status Report
